This looks like a useful manner of telling the antisemites where to get off. A cut out and keep Kippah to be worn in solidarity. The back ground here is that some fool in Germany announced that in order to reduce the number of antisemitic attacks observant Jews should no longer wear the symbol of their observance. Imagine the outrage if someone said that Muslim women should leave off with the veil in order to – actually, we don’t have to imagine, do we? Even the suggestion that a woman should remove her veil so that the doctor can understand her is islamophobia apparently.
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””] German newspaper Bild published a cut-out-and-use kippa on Monday after Jews were warned by the government’s anti-Semitism commissioner not to wear it. Felix Klein said he ‘cannot advise Jews to wear the kippa everywhere all the time in Germany’, in an interview over the weekend. [/perfectpullquote]That some of the new 1 million vibrants are antisemitic is hardly a grand surprise given their origins. But the correct response to that is heavy handed policing of those who are antisemitic, not advice to not provoke.
Recall what is said about rape and short dresses….

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]The move comes after a leading government official warned Jews in Germany not to wear the traditional skullcaps in public because of an increase in anti-Semitic attacks across the country.Felix Klein, the government’s anti-Semitism commissioner, told the Funke media group Saturday: “I cannot advise Jews to wear the kippah everywhere all the time in Germany.”[/perfectpullquote]
The correct response is to fire the man and confiscate his pension while doing so. Won’t change what he said but would certainly give other such idiots pause for thought.
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]Last year, a man wearing the Star of David was beaten in the center of Berlin, soon after a 19-year-old Syrian attacked an Arab-Israeli and his companion with a belt in broad daylight. As to Herr Klein we around here think of measuring him up for a set of striped jammies. But then that’s to be extreme, even in bad taste, isn’t it?
What I don’t understand is why the far right neo Nazis , who are obviously to blame for all the violence, aren’t attacking the poor defenceless muslims.
