Is Amber Rudd’s ‘Coloured’ Comment To Diane Abbott Racist?

Amber Rudd, During a Jeremy Vine interview on BBC Radio 2 today discussing online and verbal abuse that MP’s received ‘clumsily’ called Diane Abbott “Coloured”.

Abbott has responded in her usual Woe betide me manner and called the comments “offensive and revealing choice of words”

Now, im sure people of this parish will agree that this is all over blown and that offence is taken and not given. Should Amber apologise? I mean how does calling someone “coloured” differ from the ultra-PC “people of colour”?

Obviously becasue we live in the snowflake generation, where you cant fart without someone running behind you with air-freshener Amber Apologised:

In other news, heres that famous clip, if you missed it of Andrew Neil having a go at Diane Abbott for being a racist:

  • "I mean how does calling someone “coloured” differ from the ultra-PC “people of colour”?"

'cos we don't speak French in this country, adjectives go *before* the noun.

  • Is there a web site where you can keep up-to-date with what descriptions each minority group like to be called today? Even better one with the non-PC terms so I can use them more frequently.
