While not adverse to a bung for improved infrastructure and training, am not so keen on subsidising the living standards of slackers. Some people seem to think levelling up means taking the bread out the mouth of my kids and stuffing it in theirs.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and his 73 grandchildren will bewail your patriarchal white-privileged despoiling of the enviromment.
And a lot of that improvement came before the recent innovation of gunpoint redistribution.
