Canadian Meese Are Damn Good Swimmers

A report in from the colonial cousins in the Antipodes:

Ten Canadian moose landed here more than 100 years ago. A few intrepid Kiwis have been searching the Fiordland wilderness for them ever since.

Pretty good swimming that. We’d also note the presumed age of both the searchers and the meese.

Yes, OK, but seriously, subs?

  • Seems the sub-editors returned from coffee break and fixed the headline. Still, between a 72-year-old moose-spotter and 100-year-old meese, my money's on the meese.
