That oil should just stay in the ground up in Canada, better not to even drill it and certainly we shouldn’t try to move it. That’s what the cause celebre was, that buffalo could drown in the stuff, dolphins be coated and humanity’s very ability to survive affected.

That's probably comparable to the amount leaked into the environment by a wind farm over a year.
1800 gallons is 8000 litres, so 20 litres a day, so one millionth of a centimetre thickness over a square kilometre. (may be a magnitude or so out)
