Cast Her Out – Semenya Is A Transphobe!

This is the only possible conclusion to draw from this statement:

“I am very disappointed by this ruling, but refuse to let World Athletics drug me or stop me from being who I am,” she said. “Excluding female athletes or endangering our health solely because of our natural abilities puts World Athletics on the wrong side of history. I will continue to fight for the human rights of female athletes, both on the track and off the track, until we can all run free the way we were born.”

To defend only the rights to compete in the physique of birth is indeed transphobic in this modern day and age. How can we, therefore, allow such a hater to continue to perform in the public sphere?

  • You can have excellence or you can have enforced equality. Women's athletics is already an artificial domain designed not to showcase the finest but to be testosterone-free. Of course it will come to acquire an Equalizer General, armed with a syringe, to maintain testosterone-freedom.

But I can't imagine a group of humans saying high-testosterone women is a problem without some of them thinking Semenya is the problem.

  • Oh, for Pete's sake! Caster Semenya is an anomaly like Usain Bolt or Jesse Owens or Cassius Clay aka Muhammed Ali or Fanny Blankers-Koen or Victor Kohli or Donald Bradman who just happens to be better than anyone else in her/his era.
She is NOT attacking "trans" athletes just a regulation that seems specifically aimed at herself. Most "trans" athletes would not keep up with her after the first lap, so why should she even notice them?

    • Fanny Blankers-Koen was XX. Caster Semenya is XY, and by most standards is male. She has testicles, albeit internally.

She is an anomaly, in that she has been permitted to run in female events while (mostly) male. Hence why she is so much better than everyone she is competing against. Well, at least the XX ones anyway.

Any decision on XY athletes -- so all trans -- is by its nature going to affect Semenya.
