Thursday's box office numbers are out - little change from earlier in the week. How To Train Your Dragon still leads, the 80th anniversary edition of Gone With The Wind comes up into the top 5. Gone With The Wind has been released in an 80th anniversary edition which prompts a very good question: Gone With the Wind turns 80 - frankly is it still worth a damn? The answer is clearly going to be subjective. Scoring 92% on the tomatometer some certainly think so: Filmed and presented on a scale not seen in modern productions, Gone with the Wind is, if not the definitive Hollywood film, then certainly near the top of the list. As to why not the scale these days, actors were cheaper back then. As to the plot synopsis: A manipulative woman and a roguish man conduct a turbulent romance during the American Civil War and Reconstruction periods. That might not quite do the sweeping grandeur sufficient justice. Isn't It Romantic Starting out as a spoof of Rom Coms it becomes, yes, a Rom Com. New York City architect Natalie works hard to get noticed at her job but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city's next skyscraper. And if things weren't bad enough, Natalie, a lifelong cynic when it comes to love, has an encounter with a mugger that renders her unconscious, waking to discover that her life has suddenly become her worst nightmare -- a romantic comedy -- and she is the leading lady. FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY is a heartwarming comedy based on the incredible true story of WWE Superstar Paige(TM). Born into a tight-knit wrestling family, Paige and her brother Zak are ecstatic when they get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to try out for WWE. But when only Paige earns a spot in the competitive training program, she must leave her family and face this new, cut-throat world alone. Paige's journey pushes her to dig deep, fight for her family, and ultimately prove to the world that what makes her different is the very thing that can make her a star. Perhaps people do like it - 91% on the tomatometer.
