I really do think that the correct next leader of the Labour Party is Keir Starmer.
Or more correctly, Sir Keir Starmer KCB.
As Guido is saying he’s currently the front runner. Which is excellent of course.
It’s about time that Labour had a knight as the party leader. It is, after all, about time that everyone realised they’re the party of the establishment. The people who want to pickle the state in its current immobility, make sure that only they and their chums get to enjoy the fruits of power.
And given that the Tories have had two women leaders, two female PMs indeed, Labour regressing to to a KCB would be fun, wouldn;t it?
When I hear the name Keir Starmer I keep thinking Keir Hardie, which runs straight to “Keir ‘ardie’s Cap!“
Bradley Hardacre for PM!
The next leader of the Labour party will be whomever Jon Lansman wants it to be. But, if I’m wrong and it does turn out to be arch-Remainiac Sir Keir, that will doom them to another couple of terms in opposition.
I read it as “Sir Keir Starmer KGB”
Seems more appropriate for a Robot under others’ control
